sponsored by Humanist Mutual Aid Network (HuMAN)

The Free HuMAN Academy is a secular humanist, tuition-free, online education provider that teaches 45 courses via videos, text, and hands-on learning lessons. Our classes are designed for African humanist students, but we encourage world-wide enrollment. We offer 15 classes in Community-Building, 20 classes in Micro-Enterprizes, and 10 classes in Ethics & Skills.

We award $30,000 yearly. Every February, May, August and November we give 25 prizes of $300 each, to the most dedicated students. Funds must be spent on a humanitarian, community-building, or sustainability project.. Students can receive the award multiple times. Certificates signed by the director and supervisors are also provided to every student who completes any course.

Our goal is to create a merit-based, ever-growing network of humanist leaders rooted in community action.

The Free HuMAN Academy is a project initiated by Humanist Mutual Aid Network (HuMAN), a USA nonprofit that’s worked for 12 years in 25 African nations, and 52 nations worldwide. In Africa, HuMAN has launched humanist orphanages in Liberia, Kenya, Uganda, and Niger Republic; safe houses for LGBTQ+ and victims of gender-based violence in Benin Republic, Uganda, and Nigeria; humanist primary schools in Uganda and Nigeria; internet cafes in Ghana and Nigeria, and dozens of other projects.

The Free HuMAN Academy’s classes are available to all, but only humanists can receive the $300 prizes. We offer a Humanism 101 class and we provide advice on how to join or start a humanist club, workers collective, or online Facebook or WhatsApp group.

Enrolling is easy. Follow the directions for each course and email the completed assignments to HumanistMutualAid@gmail.com A Certificate will immediately be sent to you and - if you’re a humanist - you’ll subsequently be eligible for the $300 prize.
